What I believe in
storytelling
This isn't just a smile and look at the camera type thing. It's a capture your family as you are type thing. You know, those in-between moments that last for that split second? The moments before a kiss, the laughter unprompted, those little personalities that giggle at almost anything? Those moments.
sunsets
There is something about the way that warm light shows joy. The way it makes the cuddles magical. The way it bounces off their little faces and almost echos the laughter. The way it tells the story.
connection
This session is more about me capturing you spending time together. There is no pressure. there are no rules. There is no right way or wrong way. Just you as you are. Connecting at sunset while capturing your story.
my why
when my sister was pregnant with her first son - i grabbed my camera and captured her beauty. i didn't know it then, but it would soon show to be the start of a life changing journey.
in april 2018, we lost my baby niece, Isla Grace. from that day on - God constantly showed me that
there is always beauty in the midst of chaos.
and i won't ever forget that.
and i don't want you to either.
so no matter the season you are in, i hope you can see the beauty.
i hope no matter what has happened this year, you can see the joy in the in between moments.
i hope that when you go to bed tired, it's because you know you've poured out for their good.
i hope that no matter the pain, you can truly see the growth.
i hope that when the tears fall, the defeat does too.
i hope that this season truly is showing you the strength you have.
